Steep valley slopes, high monsoon runoff, and strict containment performance on a 54.5 m asphalt-concrete rockfill dam with complex abutment geometry.

Solution

Integrated geosynthetic package: HDPE geomembrane lining with geotextile cushion and separation layers; HDPE geocell on slope faces for erosion control and confinement, coordinated with project civil contractors.
