Geogrid Soil Reinforcement TDS
Technical data sheet for Petroseal geogrid — biaxial polypropylene 20, 30 and 40 kN/m grades and a 60 kN/m uniaxial HDPE grade for soil reinforcement.
Petroseal geogrid is a stiff polymer grid with integral junctions that interlocks with fill particles, increasing bearing capacity and controlling deformation under embankments, haul roads and reinforced-earth structures. Biaxial polypropylene grades reinforce in both directions; uniaxial HDPE grades carry load in one direction for slopes and retaining structures.
Lay taut and flat, overlap rolls by at least 300 mm, and place fill from the edge forward with at least 150 mm of cover under tracked plant. Design strength is set by the designer after creep, installation-damage and environmental reduction factors — ultimate strength is not a design value.
